Robert F. Card

Robert F. Card is Professor, Department of Philosophy at the State University of New York Oswego and Adjunct Associate Professor, Division of Medical Humanities and Bioethics, University of Rochester Medical Center.

Professor Card serves on the editorial board of Bioethics and is presently Scholar in Residence, University of Rochester Medical Center (AY 2015-16). He has also been a Fellow in Clinical Ethics and Visiting Associate Professor of Medicine (AY 2008-2009) at URMC and received the President's Award for Scholarly and Creative Acitivity at SUNY (2009) His most recent book is A New Theory of Conscientious Objection: Justification and Reasonability (Routledge, 2020).
